4. Payment Terms

  • For urgent services: Payment is required upon completion
  • For projects exceeding £1,000: A 50% initial payment is expected at the time of booking
  • Remaining balance: Payable upon project's end
  • Any additional fees: Due following completion

4.3 Payment Methods

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

5.1 Customer Cancellations

  • If notified more than 48 hours before service: Entire deposit is refundable
  • Notification 24-48 hours before service: Half of the deposit will be refunded
  • Notification less than 24 hours before service: The deposit is non-refundable
  • For last-minute emergency service cancellations: A fee of £100 applies

5.2 Emergency Service Guarantee

In emergency situations, we commit to a response time within 2 hours. Failure to meet this guarantee due to extenuating circumstances entitles you to:

  • A discount of 20% on the emergency service fee
  • Priority rescheduling for the next available time slot

5.3 Project Delays

In the event of project delays attributable to unpredicted site issues or material availability, we will communicate updated timelines and adjust schedules as needed.

6. Safety and Site Conduct

6.1 Safety Requirements

Property owners are expected to:

  • Ensure safe and unobstructed access to work zones
  • Reveal information about any hazardous substances or conditions
  • Keep pets and children at a distance from work zones
  • Comply with safety instructions provided by technicians

6.2 Site Preparation

Customers are in charge of:

  • Clearing work areas prior to the beginning of work
  • Assuring there is enough room to perform the necessary work
  • Restraining pets throughout the service period
  • Notifying neighbors about planned work when applicable

6.3 Conduct

Customers must maintain a workplace that guarantees safety. Service may be halted if onsite conditions are deemed to pose risks to our technicians or the property itself.

7. Liability and Insurance

7.1 Our Liability

Our liability is restricted to the fee for the service rendered. We are not liable for:

  • Pre-established plumbing defects
  • Damage arising from undiscovered issues
  • Secondary damage following service interruptions
  • Problems due to improper maintenance by the property owner

7.2 Insurance Coverage

We are equipped with comprehensive liability insurance which covers our operations and workmanship. Customers are responsible for maintaining their own insurance over their property.

We cannot be held liable for service-related delays, cancellations, or changes caused by events outside of our control, which include but are not limited to:

  • Acts of nature

  • Disruptions in public utility provision
  • Interruptions in material supply chains
